Water supply treatment using water from Rivers, Lakes, Chenal, etc, mainly reduce suspended solids (SS), color, turdibity removal and disinfection.
Treatment processes
There are many methods to treat surface water treatment choices depends on: water demand, water use standards, characteristics of surface water, investment and operation costs, etc,.
– Mechanic treatment: the reservoir and preliminary sedimentation, bar screens, fine screens, sedimentation tanks, sand filters.
– Chemical treatment: flocculants used as alum, lime as well as chlorine for disinfection.
